Built on the “Brown” land site of the disused Royal Victoria Dock adjacent to London city airport the new Excel Exhibition Centre is hailed as the largest column free space in the country and showcases innovative design and flexibility.

Scope of Services

Working as a direct package contractor, ASM undertook a £3.75 million, 9 month, full “Airside” package for all areas outside of the two main exhibition halls. The role involved not only the responsibility for selecting, installing, and commissioning all associated plant, but also the development of an “Abridged Duties” 1st principle design set out by Hoare Lea & Partners.  On site design, draughting and co-ordination were critical to the ultimate success of our contract and in helping McAlpines achieve a £200 Million GMP project in less than 2 years
