Project Description

This major PFI project comprising 4500 rooms, and almost 1000 beds with a footprint of 8.5 hectares was built on a former brown field site.  Its 5 tower pods were designed to give patients access to maximum daylight and views onto green spaces.

Scope of Services

The first fix ductwork installation programme was circa 8 months, that added to the scale of the project provided a manufacturing, logistical and operational challenge that ASM rose to meet.  ASM delivered this project with labour in excess of 100 operatives at its peak, the monetary value of the project being £0.5 million per month
